We are seeking community feedback on the draft Berridale Master Plan that has been developed in consultation with the Berridale Project Engagement Group. Please provide your feedback by 11.59pm Sunday 13 October 2024.
Background
In August 2023, Council appointed community members to the Berridale Project Engagement Group (PEG) to help shape stage three of the Berridale Master Plan project, which aims to transform and revitalise the Heart of the Snowies and help shape future development.
Funded under Round 5 of the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund, this stage of the Berridale Master Plan aims to create a unified, accessible, sustainable and coherent landscape in the Berridale Village Centre.
This will be achieved through upgrades to traffic infrastructure and drainage, landscape improvements, improved pedestrian access, formalisation of the creek and improvements and integration of open spaces.
Berridale belongs to its community, and the PEG has provided a crucial interface between Council and the Berridale community through the development of this draft master plan. Council extends our deep gratitude and thanks to this group of dedicated community volunteers for their passion and commitment to their hometown.
The aim of the master plan development is to allow Council an opportunity to apply for additional grant funding to deliver this project in a phased approach.
It is now time to share the draft master plan with our community.
