Staying Positive In A Tough Season 

I want to thank all the fans who have supported me and who continue to support me. This has been a difficult season for me on and off the field. I don't know what to say about my knee, other than I'm taking it day by day and I'm keeping a positive attitude.

I hope to play again at some point in the season, but I don't know if that is going to be the case. I am working hard and helping the young guys on the team prepare each week. I'm staying into the game mentally, but I can't get on the field yet.

It is disappointing. I had such high hopes when I came here, and I am excited to be be a Houston Texan. I wish I could contribute. I wish I could be on the field.

But there is no sense rushing things. It doesn't make sense to get on the field if I can't play the way I know I can play.

All I can do is keep focused on the day-to-day work. I'm thinking about the big picture. I am not looking ahead. I just want to help this team get into the playoffs. We are close. It's just that we have to stay away from turnovers. We're a young team and the young players are learning that you can't make those kinds of mistakes and win games.

I will let you know when I can get on the field. I'm hoping it is soon. I don't know, though.
